Keep Drinking

Just because the weather is cold outside and you have to bundle up to run, cycle, jog, walk, skateboard, ski...whatever!  Don't think that you don't need to hydrate during exercise.  As Jeff Galloway, an Olympian, running coach and author of 17 books, including the best-selling Galloway’s Book on Running says:
"Keep drinking.  Hydration isn’t just a hot-weather worry, it's imperative when staying fit in winter, too.
People often think they don't need to drink water unless it's hot outside, but it's still important in cold weather."

Karla, who writes the blog Bond with Karla notes "Avoid dehydration.  Even though you won't feel it as much during the summer, your body will lose massive amounts of water during winter trainings.  1% of body water lost during exercise causes a performance decrease by 10%..."

Even the Mayo Clinic tells us "You need to stay well hydrated when exercising in cold weather just as you do when exercising in warm weather...even if you're not really thirsty, you can become just as dehydrated in the cold as in the heat from sweating, breathing and increased urine production, but it may be harder to notice during cold weather."

So get out and enjoy the winter...but remember to take RevoH2O along with you.
